back home

well everyone I have just returned from a three day weekend swap meet. So if your into cars and signs, plus yard ornates. This would have been right up your alley. I had a very restful and enjoyful time. I like old signs and  almost any antique yard things. My husband is all about the same things. we travel alot and stop at alot of small town antique shops and flea markets. I can't tell you the best one yet because I'm still hunting HA HA HA! One of the most memorable ones was in Quanaha Texas. This place looks old and run down but just wait till you enter. This owner has everything and I mean everthing. My daughters family and Robert and I are off to Las vegas this Thursday. I can't wait! We have planned the trip out, over the last several months and hopefully things go acording to that plan. BUT! If not we will have a great time anyway. I visited a small town called Oatman , Az a few months back and it is way way back in the mohave dessert.  I'm hoping to make it over there this trip too. The townspeople have made the ghost town come alive again. The street shops are now triving gift shops and resturants. The direct desendents of the pack mules still roam free in the streets. Everyday at 2& 4 PM they have a old fashion gun fight in the middle of town. I could go on and on. I really loved the days we spent there. So if ever you chance out that way route 66 runs thru the middle of town so stop and visit. I want to visit and explore my world so who knows where I'll show up next.
